Ravenstone Lodge is a converted 19th Century stables & lodge with many original features including the stables themselves which are now the bar.
The Lodge is a privately small hotel with just 9 bedrooms and because of this it’s can provide a uniquely personal service and when you stay here you are not just a room number but are the guests in the true meaning of the word.
Food is very important to Ravenstone Lodge and philosophy is very simple, top quality locally sourced ingredients cooked to order by resident chef with sufficient choice to satisfy all tastes.

Situated at the foot of Ullock Pike close to Skiddaw with views towards Bassenthwaite Lake and the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is perfectly positioned to explore the Northern Lake District.
For walkers, Ravenstone Lodge is at the start of some of the best Skiddaw walks, as well as being just 1.6 km from the many walks around Dodd Wood. Keswick and Derwent Water are both just a 10-minute drive away, while the Western Lakes are around 30 minutes’ drive.
